Our large ceramic foot design ensures that your Kamado grill remains stable when used alone. The soles of the feet are coated with a protective felt for additional protection.
Does a kamado need feet?
If your Kamado MCD is running on a wooden surface or in a built-in application, you must place the Grill accessories on these ceramic feet. The foot raises the Kamado MCD, allowing air to flow directly under the grill. Air flow helps to dissipate heat.

Concrete pavers – The cheapest and most popular option under the Kamado thermal buffer is the concrete paver.
Does the Camado grill rust?
To minimize rust, Kamado MCD has an aluminum upper vent. It has a smaller valve and an enlarged aperture to facilitate air circulation. However, the grill vents on the BGE are made of cast iron, which means its exterior can be corroded.
How high does Kamado MCD cook?
31 inches
The cart raises the cooking temperature of the kamado grill height of the MCD to 31 inches above the ground.
